Pennies for Pasta

Hawthorn School of Dual Language partnered with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Olive Garden to participate in the 2017-2018 student series campaign known as Pasta for Pennies.  Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the lives of patients and their families.  Pennies for Pasta help families of patients pay for medicines, doctors, or other expenses, and help fund research focused on finding a cure.  Together, our students were able to raise $3000.00!  We surpassed our goal of $2,500!  Thank you to all our wonderful students, parents, and friends who generously contributed to our fund raiser, “Pennies for Pasta.” Extra congratulations goes out to our 4th grade class, Ms. Ebarle, for collecting $521.57!  They have earned an Olive Garden lunch!
