Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.)

In honor of beloved author Beverly Cleary’s birthday, our entire building will be taking part in
Drop Everything And Read (D.E.A.R.) Day.  This will take place on Monday, April 13 at 2:30-2:50.
So wherever the students are at that time, we will either read to the students (a book related to curriculum or just a fun read aloud)  OR have the students bring something to read independently.
Students,  please wear something with words on it that you can read Monday.  It could be a shirt with a phrase on it, a team name, etc.

Even some of the art teachers showcased their talent for public viewing. The Art Show runs through Saturday, April 4. A few of the select artists represented include Gustav Klimt, Keith Haring, Georgia O’Keefe, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and Henri Matisse.

The event was sponsored by the Cultural Committee, which includes dual language teachers and parents.
