“Girls On the Run” Outreach Project Collects Children’s DVDs

Townline and Dual Language students participating in Girls on the Run this spring are working on their community outreach project. This season they are helping collect children’s dvd’s for an organization called Kid Flicks. Kid Flicks is a not-for-profit organization that donates movie libraries  to Children’s Hospitals and Pediatric Departments throughout the country. Every time they collect 100 movies, they find a new hospital to donate to. Each hospital receives a “movie library” that appeals to toddlers through teenagers.
If you would like to donate- dvd’s can be rated G, PG, or PG-13 and  dropped off in the donation boxes outside the  school office by May 14, 2015. Here is the organization’s link for more info: http://www.kidflicks.org

Thanks so much for supporting our community project!
