Kids Heart Challenge in PE

All K-5 students will be participating in a jump rope unit in their physical education classes during the week of February 4th, 2019. In conjunction with this jump rope unit, we will be participating in a fundraiser benefiting the American Heart Association (Kids Heart Challenge). All students will be jumping rope during gym class, but it is voluntary to collect donations for the American Heart Association.

Throughout the school year, we discuss keeping our heart and body healthy through exercise and diet. This exciting school-based project stimulates students’ interest in physical activity and exercise, while supporting the fundraising efforts of the American Heart Association. Proceeds support critical research and education to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke.

All participants returning their donations will receive various thank-you gifts based on how much money they have raised. All donations are due by February 8th, which is the last day of the Kids Heart Challenge event.
Fundraising materials will be distributed this week, but you can start online fundraising now by visiting:
