We are located at 810 N Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills, IL, housed inside the Hawthorn Townline Elementary Building.
- The Hawthorn School of Dual Language is a two-way immersion model of education utilizing the English and Spanish languages
- Homerooms are comprised of 50% English dominant and 50% Spanish dominant students.
- The idea of Dual Language programs is that students work together with their peers and teachers to become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural by fifth grade.
- Literacy is taught in both English and Spanish in al grade levels (with the exception of Kindergarten)
