Attendance Week – Dual is in the Top 10!
Great news to share with you all on this beautiful Monday morning. The School of Dual was ranked in the top 10 of schools in our enrollment division in the annual Lake County “Attendance Week” completion. Way to go School of Dual Language! Dr. Tohme accepted the award for us all.
Muy buenas noticias para compartir con usted esta maravillosa mañana del lunes. La Escuela de
Lenguaje Dual ha quedado dentro las 10 primeras escuelas que compitieron en nuestra división de
inscripciones en la “Semana de Asistencia” anual del condado de Lake. Muchas felicitaciones Escuela de
Lenguaje Dual. El Dr. Tohme aceptó el premio para todos nosotros.
Las 10 primeras escuelas de 2017
Escuelas a lo largo de todo el condado de Lake participaron en la veintinueveava Semana de Asistencia
anual en el Otoño del condado de Lake, del 11 al 15 de septiembre, 2017 que fue patrocinada por la
División de Asistencia y Ausentismo Escolar conocida anteriormente como PASS ( Servicios al Estudiante
de Alternativa Positiva) y Roycealee Wood, Superintendente Regional del Condado de Lake. 142
escuelas y 96,558 estudiantes participaron este año.
Todas las escuelas (PK-12) en el condado fueron elegibles para ser reconocidas por el Superintendente
Regional por excelencia por su índice de asistencia semanal. Las diez primeras escuelas en las diferentes
categorías serán anunciadas en la treceava ceremonia de premios. Estas diez escuelas recibirán un
certificado enmarcado por sus logros de parte de la Oficina del Superintendente Regional y cada una de
las escuelas que participaron recibirán un certificado de participación.
La ceremonia es la conclusión de un largo mes de celebración del quinto año del Mes Sobre la
Conciencia de Asistencia Anual Nacional, una campaña organizada por Trabajos de Asistencia y otros
patrocinadores nacionales. La oficina Regional de Educación del Condado de Lake ha resaltado esta
conciencia de asistencia distribuyendo ideas e información a los administradores de las escuelas del
condado, llevando a cabo la semana anual veintinueveava de competencia de asistencia y la ceremonia
y declarando una proclamación de la Sra. Wood, Superintendente Regional de Escuelas, proclamando el
mes de septiembre como Mes de la Conciencia de Asistencia.

Schools from across Lake County participated in the Twenty-ninth Annual Lake County School Fall Attendance Week, September 11-15th, 2017, which was sponsored by the Attendance & Truancy Division (formerly known as PASS (Positive Alternative Student Services)) and Roycealee Wood, Lake County Regional Superintendent of Schools. 142 schools and 96,558 students participated this year.
All schools (PK-12) in the county were eligible to be recognized by the Regional Superintendent for excellence in their weekly attendance rate. The Top Ten Schools in the different categories will be announced at the 13th Annual Awards Ceremony. These top ten schools will receive a framed certificate of achievement from the Regional Superintendent’s Office and each of the participating schools will receive a certificate of participation.
This ceremony is the conclusion to a month-long celebration of the fifth annual National Attendance Awareness Month, a campaign organized by Attendance Works (www.attendanceworks.org/attendancemonth/) and other national partners. Lake County’s Regional Office of Education has highlighted Attendance Awareness by distributing attendance tips and information to the county school administrators, hosting the 29th Annual Attendance Week Competition and ceremony and the issuing a Proclamation from Mrs. Wood, Regional Superintendent of Schools, deeming September as Attendance Awareness Month.
