Have You Registered for Kindergarten?

Kindergarten registration is now open for fall 2016.  Children who turn 5-years-old on or before September 1, 2016 are eligible for kindergarten.  To learn more about the district’s kindergarten program, curriculum, schools and the registration process, please go to the kindergarten registration website page or call the District Office at 847-990-4280 or 847-990-4217.

Firefighter Tony Presents Hazard House

Students have been learning fire safety from Firefighter Tony using his Hazard House.  Each room has a hazard that the kids need to identify and deal with safely.  The students have had lots of fun while they learned safety lessons for life.

D73 Library Art Show

100s Day

Encouraging Positive Behavior

All students of Dual Language continue to put forth a great effort, at being the best version of themselves, as it relates “Respect, Responsible, and Safe” behavior Children continue to learn and demonstrate the behavior expectations related to: Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible. Our hope is that kids will make the community a better place as they strive to be contributing members of our community.  As an incentive to encourage positive behaviors, some students were selected to have lunch with Dr. Tohme!


Todos los estudiantes de Lenguaje Dual continúan realizando un gran esfuerzo, en demostrar su mejor versión de ellos mismos, como se menciona en la conducta de ser  “Respetuosos, Responsables y Seguros”.  Los niños continúan aprendiendo y demostrando las expectativas de conducta relacionadas a: Estar seguros, Ser respetuosos  y Ser responsables.  Nuestra esperanza es que los niños harán de la comunidad un mejor lugar donde vivir a medida que se esfuercen  en ser miembros contribuyentes de nuestra comunidad.  Como incentivo para desarrollar una conducta positiva, algunos estudiantes fueron seleccionados para almorzar con el Dr. Tohme!
